"GRATITUDE CAN TURN ROUTINE JOBS INTO JOY, CAN CHANGE ORDINARY OPPORTUNITIES INTO BLESSINGS, AND CAN TRANSFORM COMMON DAYS INTO THANKSGIVINGS."

TKF volunteers transformed Hubble Studio into a giant pantry for our Fourth Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive held on November 16th, 2019. We were able to collect non-perishable food items, frozen turkeys and Thanksgiving essentials to distribute to 300 families of the Pico Rivera Housing Community. As families gathered in the studio to collect their Thanksgiving items, they were welcomed to sandwiches donated by Fat Sal's. With face painting, hair braiding and coloring, we were able to unite the community and give back at the same time. In addition, we had a photo booth to capture all the family fun. We are so grateful in achieving our goal to feed 300 families through our First 2016 Thanksgiving Food Drive. Move For Hunger estimated that our organization collected and donated about 7,000 pounds of food! Thank you to our many volunteers including officers from our local police station.
